NOMIA SPRING/SUMMER 2011

West 15 th Street, NYC Words/Images Judith Ecochard New York Fashion Week Yara Flinn ’s status as an emerging designer is old…as we thought the quasi runway/presentation we saw was polished, well edited---and a continuation of the label’s signature MO… all characteristics of a seasoned pro. We had some familiarity with the brand, as it's DNA is in the climbing world. Along the way, it has emerged with a  “present” mantra subplot…with clothes “ aware of every move you make For travel, everyday, yoga and other activities. Spring/Summer 2011 takes a turn through Barcelona with the bright color pops throughout the collection for gals. The lifestyle line-up has the stylish fabrics (burnouts) and details with unique patterns and prints, saturated colors, and sublimation artwork techniques that bump up the tees and dresses from the basics to pretty. For tops we favored this Elina Halter (pic above) with ribbon trim, and multi
